Defy All Odds
We are a non-profit organization committed to inspiring Champlain College students to defy all odds in pursuit of their dreams.
The Sarah Ramsey Strong Fund (SRSF) was established in memory of Sarah Elizabeth Ramsey whose life was tragically cut short one year after her graduation from Champlain College, Class of ’12.
We believe in creating opportunities for young people to explore their passions, overcome challenges and follow their hearts. Our mission is to invest in programs at Champlain College that foster an environment of innovation, creativity and collaboration.
We invite you to view this short video to learn more about Sarah Ramsey, and our commitment to helping students make an impact in the world, just as Sarah did during her all too short life.

Each year, we host a fun, family oriented 5K Race along the Burlington Bike Path in honor of Sarah. Due to current CDC guidelines to avoid participating in events having 50+ participants, we have cancelled our May 2 5k. We continue our work with Champlain College in memory of Sarah, and we are looking forward to sharing more updates with you soon.
We are a lean team, always on the lookout for volunteers. If you’d like to help out with our SRS 5K Race, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be happy to add you to our crew!
We are now interviewing for our student internship, so please send your resume to email@example.com and we will contact you as soon as possible.
